Northwest Pacific Appraisal provides independent automotive appraisal and valuation services, including but not limited to total loss appraisals and related consulting. All reports and opinions are intended to provide an objective assessment of vehicle value based on available data at the time of analysis.
2. Nature of Services
All services provided by NWPA are:
Independent and third-party in nature
Based on professional judgment, industry standards, and market data
Non-binding and advisory only
NWPA does not guarantee any specific outcome, including but not limited to insurance settlements, claim approvals, or valuation acceptance by any third party.
3. No Legal Representation
NWPA does not act as an attorney, public adjuster, or legal representative. Engagement of our services does not create any attorney-client, fiduciary, or agency relationship beyond that of an independent contractor providing appraisal services.
4. Client Representations and Responsibilities
By engaging NWPA, the client represents and warrants that:
All information provided (including vehicle condition, history, ownership, and documentation) is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge
They have the legal authority to request and use appraisal services related to the subject vehicle
They will not knowingly withhold or misrepresent material information
NWPA shall not be responsible for any inaccuracies or deficiencies resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.
5. Use of Reports
Appraisal reports prepared by NWPA are intended for use by the client and relevant third parties (e.g., insurers, attorneys) in the context of a claim or dispute. However:
NWPA does not control how third parties interpret or use the report
Acceptance, rejection, or modification of any appraisal is solely at the discretion of the involved third parties
Reports reflect professional opinion, not factual guarantees or binding determinations
6. Third-Party Actions
NWPA is not responsible for the actions, decisions, delays, or conduct of any third party, including but not limited to insurance companies, opposing appraisers, umpires, attorneys, or repair facilities.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NWPA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of claim value, delays in settlement, or disputes arising from appraisal use.
In all cases, NWPA’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the appraisal service.

All services and materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Modifications
NWPA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be effective upon posting to this page.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
